The present invention relates to a process for the reactive trituration of castor seeds, which makes it possible, starting from specifically conditioned castor beans and in the presence of light alcohol and basic catalyst, to carry out in a single step the trituration and the transesterification reaction. triglycerides present in castor oil, to lead to the simultaneous obtaining of a cake, glycerol and esters of fatty acids, especially ricinoleic acid. The castor seed treatment method according to the invention makes it possible to inactivate, in a simple and inexpensive manner, in addition to ricin, the potent allergen CB-1A, thus making it possible on the one hand, the manipulation without risk and the use of castor cake in animal feed. Typically, the seeds are conditioned by a sequence of operations including a flattening step and a drying step thereof. |
