abstract Installation for detecting ionizing radiation in different locations (Bi) of an environmental site, characterized in that it comprises: - a series of sealed measurement probes (2) each installed in a different location of the site, each measurement probe having at least one scintillating crystal which emits light in response to ionizing radiation, the scintillator crystal being coupled to at least one optical fiber (7) for collecting at least a portion of the light emitted by the scintillator crystal, this optical fiber having a length of at least 5 m being connected to a photoelectric converter, and an acquisition and analysis unit (11) comprising: a series of photoelectric converters connected to the optical fibers (7), adapted to deliver the electrical signals, and a system for analyzing the electrical signals delivered by the photoelectric converters, making it possible to quantify the ionizing events detected by the measurement probes placed in the various locations of the environmental site.
