titleOfInvention DEVICE REPRESENTATIVE OF A POROUS CARBONATE NETWORK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
abstract - Device for studying the displacement of fluids in a carbonated porous medium.- The device is a glass micromodel comprising a first transparent glass plate, on which is engraved a set of intersecting channels forming a network, and a second glass plate transparent assembled on the engraved side of the first glass plate. The channels of this micromodel contain a deposit of calcium carbonate, so as to be representative of a porous carbonated medium. The process used to deposit the calcium carbonate is based on electrodeposition: an electrically conductive coating is deposited inside the channels, the etched glass plate is immersed in a calcifying solution, and then the electrically conductive coating is brought to a potential. electrical, so as to achieve a deposition of calcium carbonate in the channels by electroplating.- Application to the laboratory study of the displacement of fluids in a carbonated porous medium, such as an underground reservoir.
