abstract The present invention relates to a process for producing hydrocarbon compounds comprising at least one nitrile function.It more particularly relates to a process for the manufacture of nitrile compounds by hydrocyanation of compounds comprising at least one ethylenic unsaturation. According to the invention, this process comprises a step of treatment by hydrodenitrogenation of non-recoverable by-products comprising at least one nitrile function such as methylglutaronitrile to transform them into ammonia and hydrocarbon compounds that can be upgraded.
