abstract | The invention relates to a method for measuring the ability of a sample to resist reactive oxygen species (EROs) .The method is characterized in that it comprises at least the steps of contacting the sample to be tested and a photosensitive agent in a liquid medium to form a test mixture, - subjecting said test mixture to a light irradiation dose to cause, by photochemical reaction, the production of reactive species of oxygen, - d addition, after irradiation, of a compound which reacts colorimetrically in the presence of reactive oxygen species (ROS) to form a chromogenic or fluorescent substance and measuring the amount of chromogenic or fluorescent substance produced. |
