The present invention relates to a process for impregnating a porous body (14) with a suspension (12) containing at least a portion of particles, said body comprising a plurality of channels (16) delimited by porous partitions (22). extending from one (18) of the faces to the other (20) of the faces of said body, a portion of said channels being obstructed at one of the faces and the other portion of the channels being obstructed at the other faces According to the invention, the method comprises: - producing a suspension whose viscosity and size distribution of the particles are such that said suspension can be taken inside the partitions by depositing a part of the particles on the surface of the pores partitions - place one (18, 20) of the faces of the body (14) in communication with an enclosure (30) containing the suspension - introduce the suspension into the body - exert a force on the suspension introduced so that said suspension passes through partitions - passing a fluid through the partitions. |
