PROCESS FOR BIO-ASSISTED TREATMENT OF CONTAMINATED SOIL BY HYDROCARBONS |
abstract |
What is described in this document is a bioassisted process for the treatment of hydrocarbon contaminated soil using new microorganisms capable of decontaminating hydrocarbon-contaminated soil containing freely circulating water or in the form of hydrocarbons. 'a mixture or containing a significant amount of gravel. The method comprises adding the hydrocarbon-releasing microorganisms followed by the addition of the microorganisms capable of degrading the released hydrocarbon to decontaminate the soil, wherein the growth of said microorganisms is carried out separately in suitable containers containing a suitable nutrient medium. |
