abstract The main subject of the present invention is a hood for the loading of at least one nuclear fuel assembly in a transport container, comprising a body of longitudinal axis (X) capable of sealingly covering an upper end of a container. at least one opening (10) for the passage of a fuel assembly, at least one means of connection to pneumatic confinement means and at least one means (56) able to maintain a closure means (58) for a container chamber inside the hood and at a distance from an inlet of said chamber during loading. The present invention also relates to gripping means suitable for use with the hood and a loading method a hood according to the present invention.
