PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SULFHYDRIC ACID AND ITS APPLICATION, PARTICULARLY TO THE DEPOLLUTION OF EFFLUENTS CONTAINING HEAVY METALS |
abstract |
The subject of the present invention is the use of sulphato-reducing or thiosulfato-reducing alkalophilic bacteria chosen from at least one species of the family Desulfohalobiaceae or of the genus Desulfonatronum or whose gene coding for ribosomal RNA 16 S has a homology of at least 97% with the corresponding gene of any of the Desulfohalobiaceae family or the Desulfonatronum genus to produce hydrogen sulfide in predominantly soluble form in an aqueous medium. |
