titleOfInvention | USE OF NUCLEOTIDE SEQUENCES INTERACTING PREFERENTIALLY WITH THE PPARALPHA TRANSCRIPTION COMPLEX |
abstract | The present invention relates to the use of a polynucleotide comprising a sequence of formula (I): - TGACCTNOGGGCT-, in which N represents any natural or synthetic nucleotide base and O represents an A, T or U base, in wherein said sequence of formula (I) or complementary to (I) allows the selective interaction of said polynucleotide with one or more constituent elements of the PPARalpha transcription complex. This use makes it possible to evaluate the transcriptional activity of PPAR, to identify new PPARalpha specific ligands and sequence, as well as to diagnose and treat diseases related to PPAR activity dysregulation. The invention furthermore relates to a vector comprising a polynucleotide as defined above, a cell transformed with this vector, as well as kits for characterizing the activity of PPAR comprising such a polynucleotide. |
