abstract The invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising at least one wheat starch moderately crosslinked or strongly crosslinked with a low temperature trimetaphosphate, and at least one uncrosslinked or weakly crosslinked starch, preferably at low temperature. Another subject of the invention is the medium or high crosslinking process, at low temperature, with at least one trimetaphosphate.The invention also relates to the process for implementing the composition according to the invention comprising its use for bonding corrugated cardboard. The invention also relates to corrugated cardboard assembled by the implementation of at least one composition according to the invention.It also relates to wheat starch moderately to highly crosslinked by the action of at least a trimetaphosphate, and the mixture products which are derived therefrom, suitable for use in the composition according to the invention.It finally aims the use of the new medium to highly crosslinked wheat starch, as well as blending products derived therefrom in various industrial fields.
