titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE ACCELERATION OF SOMATIC MUTATIONS AND ITS APPLICATION IN PROTEOMICS
abstract The invention relates to a method for the acceleration of the induction of somatic mutations in vitro, comprising the expression in the cells to be mutated, under culture conditions and in a medium suitable for said cells, of at least one CDNA expressing a modified version of the AID gene, while said modified version of said gene is chosen from an AID gene in which the three hydrophobic amino acids leu189, phe193 and leu196 have been replaced by mutation to alanine in each case, and an AID gene in which lysine160 has been mutated to arginine, and a combination of these mutations.Application to induction of mutations in Burkitt lymphoma BL2.
