The subject of the present invention is a process for treating an aqueous medium (m), containing at least one nitrate or a metal sulphate, enabling the conversion of said soluble nitrate or sulphate to an insoluble oxide and to nitric or sulfuric acid, said process process comprising a step (a) of treating said aqueous medium (m) at a temperature of 100 to 700 ° C and a pressure of 1 to 50 MPa.The invention also relates to the use of this method of converting soluble metal salts of insoluble species for purifying aqueous effluents from attacking metals with nitric acid or sulfuric acid. |
