The invention relates to an ocular iontophoresis device, for the delivery of active principles, comprising a reservoir of active principles able to come to be positioned on the eye, active principles in solution in the reservoir, an active electrode disposed in the reservoir, and a passive electrode, characterized in that it comprises active principles dissolved in non-saline water, in that the solution it contains has a pH of between 6.5 and 8.5, in that the active ingredients have a pKa of between about 5.5 and about 9.5 and are adjunct-bound, such as dendrimers, polymers, nanoparticles, microspheres, liposomes or emulsions and have a higher valence ionic form or equal to 1. |
