abstract The invention relates to a method for manufacturing pellets of a mixed oxide (U, Pu) O2 or (U, Th) O2 nuclear fuel, which comprises a) the preparation of a primary mixture of powders by co-grinding a powder P1 of UO2 and a powder P2 of PuO2 or ThO2, b) sieving this mixture, c) the preparation of a final mixture of powders by dilution of the screen with a powder P3 of UO2, d) the pelletization of this final mixture and e) the sintering of the pellets, and wherein at least one compound selected from among the oxides of Cr, Al, Ti, Mg, Va and Nb is incorporated, their precursors and the inorganic compounds capable of supplying the sulfur element during step e), at least one of the powders P1, P2 and P3 and / or at least one of the primary or final mixtures of powders.
