abstract |
The present invention discloses a method for preparing supported catalytic systems which comprises the following steps: a) Synthesis of a halogenated bisimine precursor of formula (1) b) Reaction of the halogenated bisimine precursor (I) with an ionic liquid precursor in a solvent for preparing an ionic liquid; c) Reaction of the reaction product of step b) with a metal precursor of formula (II) in a solventL2MY2 (II) where L is a labile ligand, M is a metal such as Ni or Pd and Y is halogen; d) Access of the supported “single site” catalytic compound. An active catalytic system supported on ionic liquid and its use in olefin polymerization is also shown. |
