abstract |
The invention relates to a composite material intended to permanently protect a metal tool such as a container of metal or molten glass from mechanical and electrochemical attacks caused by the content. The composite material consists of one or more deposits of material. ceramics associated with a base (1) known as attachment which one of the aims is to ensure an effective bond in a wide temperature range between a metal support (2), a possible intermediate layer of ceramic (3), a ceramic layer (4) providing electrochemical protection as well as protection against mechanical erosion of the assembly. Application to the foundry, metallurgy and glassware industries for the protection of sampling and dosing tools and shaping by molding and derived processes. |
