EPITOPIC PEPTIDES OF ENZYME THYROPEROXIDASE, THE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SAME AND THEIR APPLICATIONS |
abstract |
The present invention relates to purified peptides of 5 to 20 amino acids recognized by the autoantibodies directed against human thyroperoxidase, said peptides constituting discontinuous epitopes originating from the discontinuous immunodominant region of human thyroperoxidase consisting of four distinct regions of TPO belonging to the counterparts of DFO and CPC. The invention also relates to antibodies directed against these peptides and the applications of these peptides and antibodies in particular for the detection of autoantibodies against human thyroperoxidase. |
