titleOfInvention METHOD, DEVICE AND INSTALLATION FOR PALLETIZING PILES OF TRAYS CONTAINING FRAGILE ARTICLES
abstract The device comprises a vertically movable pallet support (62) intended to receive different superimposed layers of piles, distributed in rows. This device comprises a horizontal movable support plate (80) which, in the active position, is located above of the pallet (Z), or of a layer (1a) previously deposited on the latter, as well as a pusher (50) adapted to transfer onto this plate (80) successive rows of stacks (Ra, Rb and Rc) which have been previously formed on a conveyor (4) coplanar with the upper face of the plate (80); the retraction, by transverse translation of the plate (80) allows to gently deposit the layer thus formed on the underlying layer, after which the plate (62) supporting the pallet is moved down a distance corresponding to the height of a layer, so that the cycle can then be repeated. Palletization of stacks of trays containing fragile articles, such as in particular honeycomb trays filled with eggs, at high speed and in a small footprint.
