| abstract |
The packaging box for biological products and in particular blood allows their transport and storage for a predetermined period of time at a substantially constant storage temperature below ambient temperature. The box includes an outer box (1) of suitable shape for transport and containing a box (2) containing the biological product, an insulating material (3) at least partially filling the space between said box (2) and the outer walls of the box (1). The box (2) is contained in a hollow chamber (4) which is substantially spherical containing a material previously solidified, the melting point of which is substantially equal to said desired storage temperature for said biological products. |
