abstract To reduce the risks of shrinkage and the appearance of cracks, the following are incorporated into the concrete composition: - components (A) chosen so that the tensile strength of the concrete increases faster than the tensile stresses during setting, - components (B) chosen to reduce the elastic modulus of the concrete during setting, - as necessary to restore a more continuous particle size without leveling components (C) chosen to create micro-air bubbles in the concrete of varied and stable diameter. The invention applies in particular to the manufacture of concrete elements intended to be exposed to rain or humidity.
