The present invention relates to a catalyst immobilized on silica for heterogeneous catalysis, in the form of silica particles with a particle size between 1 and 500 m comprising an organic ligand bonded to the particles by a covalent Si-C bond. The silica particles preferably have a BET specific surface greater than 50 m 2 /g, and the ligand preferably also comprises a complexed metal. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the catalyst immobilized by adding, with stirring, to an oil-water-oil emulsion, a silane of formula (A): Si (OR) 4 and a functionalized alkoxysilane of average general formula (B): R '[OSi(R ")(L)]nOR' in order to obtain the catalyst particles immobilized on silica in the form of a precipitate. |
