The object of the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tablet including at least one analgesic of the morphine derivative type, making it possible to combat the side effects of said analgesic on the intestinal mucosa, characterized in that said analgesic is combined to a low density excipient and the mixture is directly compressed so as to obtain a homogeneous floating tablet with prolonged gastric residence.
