abstract The present invention relates to a method for measuring and / or detecting a partial gas level contained in the air exhaled in a chamber preferably consisting of a hollow cylindrical end piece (1), comprising an inlet orifice (9 ), a first outlet port (10) and a second outlet port (2) through which only part of the exhaled air is diffused towards a control means (13) of said partial gas rate, a process in which one measures the flow rate of the exhaled air in order to measure the desired partial gas rate only when a certain quantity of air has already been exhaled, method characterized in that: - one uses as means of controlling said desired gas rate , a thin-film semiconductor sensor, the conductivity of which varies as a function of the rate of said gas sought in contact with said layer of said semiconductor, and said semiconductor is heated with a heating resistor coated with said thin layer at a given temperature T0 , and we measure e the flow rate of the exhaled air by measuring the variation in the amplitude of the sound wave emitted by the circulation of the exhaled air through said second outlet orifice (2).
