abstract The invention relates to a mutated env gene encoding a mutated envelope glycoprotein of the HIV-1 virus, which comprises at least two mutations at at least two glycosylation sites, each mutation consisting of a replacement of an AAC codon. or AAT which codes for an asparagine by a CAG or CAA codon which codes for a glutamine, said mutations being carried out at the level of a very conserved region in the env gene, the region of the gene being chosen from the regions which code for the region C3 / V3, C3 / V3 / C3 and C2 / V3 of the Env protein; a mutated Env glycoprotein and their uses in a pharmaceutical composition.
