The invention describes a new process for obtaining an aqueous dispersion of hydrophobic polymers dispersed in the form of particles with an average diameter of less than 100 nm stabilized jointly with a macromolecular surfactant based on styrene I copolymer imidized maleic anhydride of low mass, and a cationic surfactant. The invention also describes the use of such a dispersion in the treatment and bonding of paper, as well as in the field of coatings of substrates as diverse as wood, metals, glass , building materials, textiles, leather, plastics, etc. |
