The invention relates to oral dosage forms (tablets, capsules, powders, etc.) in which a biguanide, preferably metformin, and at least one other antihyperglycemic active ingredient B are associated. The object of the invention is to provide an oral anti-diabetic pharmaceutical form (type II diabetes): - containing an active ingredient A formed by metformin and at least one other active ingredient B, - and capable of being swallowed easily, reason once a day. This object is achieved by the invention which relates to an oral pharmaceutical form associating metformin and at least one other active principle B antidiabetic (glibenclamide, pioglitazone hydrochloride, rosiglitazone maleate, nateglinide, glipizide, glimepiride), characterized in that it comprises capsules each consisting of a metformin-based heart and a coating film applied to the heart and allowing the prolonged in vivo release of metformin; and optionally capsules based on B coated and allowing the sustained release of B; and in that the metformin-based capsules and the possible B-based capsules are designed so that the administration regimen of the dosage form considered is taken once a day. |
