The invention relates to alumina agglomerates, of the type obtained by dehydration of an aluminum hydroxide or oxyhydroxide, agglomeration of the alumina thus obtained, hydrothermal treatment of the agglomerates and calcination, characterized in that: - they have a surface specific between 90 and 220 m2 / g, preferably between 100 and 200 m2 / g; - they have a V37A of between 40 and 65 ml / g, preferably between 45 and 60 ml / 100g; - they have a V200A greater than or equal at 12 ml / 100g, preferably greater than or equal to 15 ml / 100g, very preferably greater than or equal to 18 ml / 100g; and- they have a specific surface area / V200A ratio of less than or equal to 10, preferably less than or equal to 8.5, very preferably less than or equal to 7. The invention also relates to a catalyst support, an adsorbent material and a catalyst made up of by such agglomerates. The invention also relates to processes for preparing these agglomerates. |
