abstract | Disclosed is a process for producing a modified diene polymer rubber, which comprises the following steps: (i) polymerizing a conjugated diene compound, or a combination of a conjugated diene compound and d an aromatic vinyl compound, in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an alkali metal catalyst, to obtain an active conjugated diene polymer having an alkali metal in the terminal position; and (ii) reacting the active conjugated diene polymer having an alkali metal in terminal position with an amino compound represented by the following formula (1) (DRAWING IN BOPI) where R1, R2 and R3 each represent an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R4 represents an alkoxy or alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 1 to 8, to obtain the modified diene polymer rubber. |
