titleOfInvention | PLANT PATHOGENIC FUNGI GENE 77 AND ITS USE FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF FUNGICIDAL COMPOUNDS |
abstract | The present invention relates to a novel nucleic acid fragment of the genome of the rice pathogenic fungus Magnaporthe grisea comprising a gene encoding a protein (hereinafter referred to as protein 77) whose presence and integrity are essential for the pathogenesis of this fungus. It also relates to the sequence coding for protein 77, protein 77 and their uses for the search for potential biological targets for new fungicidal molecules. Finally, it relates to the inhibitory compounds of the pathogenesis of fungi linked to the expression of the gene 77. |
