The invention relates to novel cationic polyurethanes of elastic nature, that is to say having an immediate recovery of between 5% and 95%, consisting essentially (a1) of cationic units derived from at least one tertiary or quaternary amine exhibiting at least two reactive functions with labile hydrogen, (a2) nonionic units derived from nonionic polymers carrying at their ends reactive functions with labile hydrogen and having a glass transition temperature (Tg), measured by differential enthalpy analysis, less than 10 degreC, optionally (a3) of nonionic units derived from nonionic monomeric compounds containing at least two functions with labile hydrogen, and (b) of units derived from at least one diisocyanate, as well as cosmetic compositions containing such polymers. |
