The invention proposes a control method for a powertrain comprising at least one heat engine coupled via a clutch to a transmission with discrete ratios, and which comprises a central management unit capable of operating according to a gear change mode, which comprises a disengagement step then a re-clutch step (ER) during which the central unit controls the clutch and the engine so that the torque transmitted by the clutch tends towards a value subject to the position of an accelerator pedal and that the engine speed tends towards a value of synchronization with the input shaft of the transmission, characterized in that, during re-clutch step (ER), the central management unit detects a clutch slip threshold (Sg) from which it commands the re-establishment of engine torque by issuing a setpoint (CRCM) of r torque regulation. |
