abstract The present invention relates to a method for determining an in vitro model of cellular architecture making it possible to mimic the expression profile of a gene of interest in a cell or tissue of target cells in vivo, preferably target cells exhibiting a tumor character. The invention also relates to a method for identifying or confirming a gene whose expression is likely to be significantly different or identical between a normal target cell in vivo and said abnormal target cell in vivo. The present invention also relates to a method for selecting a compound capable of being used as a medicament for treating and / or preventing pathologies induced by an alteration in the expression of a gene of interest. Finally, the invention relates to the use of said in vitro models thus determined, in particular models of the 3-dimensional spheroid type as a relevant model for studying the expression of at least one gene of interest.
