abstract A burst-resistant concrete during a fire comprises organic fibers in a proportion of 0.02 to 0.3% by volume, said organic fibers having a diameter of 5 to 200 m, and a length of 5 to 40 mm, and being formed from an organic material having a ratio by weight of 500.degree. C. heating of 30% or less. Concrete has a ratio of water to binder of 35% or less.
