EXPANDABLE AND CURABLE FLEXIBLE PREFORM CONTAINING UNSATURATED RESINS FOR THE TUBING OF A WELL OR PIPE |
abstract |
Flexible preform which can be unfolded radially to form, after deployment, a tubular structure which can be hardened by polymerization after it has been placed in a well or a pipe, of which, after hardening, it substantially conforms to the shape comprising in its constitution at least one resin comprising in its chemical formula at least one bond reactive multiple capable of subsequently reacting with compounds comprising in their constitution at least one reactive multiple bond which is terminal or positioned from one end to the other of the molecular chain and / or in a pendant group. The thermosetting resin with a high latency has a glass transition of at least 90 degreC and can be associated with at least one oligomer and / or at least one polymerizable monomer comprising in their chemical formulas at least one multiple bond. It is also possible to combine the resin with spin limiters or flow controllers ensuring optimal conservation of the fiber / matrix ratio during the pressing caused by the deployment of the expandable preform. These compositions will optionally include shrinkage reducers after polymerization. Usually an unsaturated polyester resin or a vinyl ester resin or mixtures of resins usually containing at least one of these resins will be used. |
