abstract |
The present invention relates to a non-thrombogenic semi-permeable membrane comprising a semi-permeable support membrane and an anticoagulant agent suitable for the treatment of blood and plasma by extracorporeal circulation. It is characterized in that: - the semi-permeable support membrane consists essentially of a polyacrylonitrile, carrying anionic or anionizable groups; the surface of the semi-permeable support membrane intended to be brought into contact with the blood or the plasma is successively coated with a cationic polymer and an anticoagulant agent. The invention also relates to an exchanger for the treatment of blood or plasma by extracorporeal circulation comprising two compartments separated by a non-thrombogenic semi-permeable membrane and to a method of manufacturing the exchanger. |
