titleOfInvention | METHOD OF REDUCING EMISSIONS OF SULFUR OXIDES IN A CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BED COMBUSTION SYSTEM |
abstract | In a circulating fluidized bed combustion installation comprising a hearth (1) whose dust is at least partially recovered by a cyclone (12), the partially dusted gases leaving this cyclone (12) passing into a recovery boiler (3) , then in a dust collector (7), a process for reducing sulfur oxide emissions according to which a desulfurizing agent is introduced into the hearth (1), comprises the following steps: - downstream of said recovery boiler (3) and upstream of the dust collector (7), the fumes are desulphurized by a semi-wet process in a reaction chamber (4) equipped with a water injection (5), and - downstream of said dust collector (7), the products of desulfurization obtained are thermally oxidized by mixing with circulating solids (10), extracted from the bottom of the cyclone (12), in at least one dense fluidized bed (9) installed outside the hearth (1) before being reinjected into the home (1) .This process requires a small amount of ity of desulfurizing agents. |
