abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the pretreatment of a catalyst used in hydrocarbon conversion processes comprising the following steps: a) a pretreatment of a catalyst containing at least one zeolite of structure type EUO and at least one metal is carried out hydro-dehydrogenating, in the presence of a hydrocarbon feedstock, by operating a temperature to a value such that a catalyst comprising carbon is obtained; b) the hydrocarbon feedstock and the catalyst are then treated; by implementing a temperature at a value lower than the value applied in step a). The invention also relates to an activated catalyst and its use in a process for isomerising aromatic compounds containing 8 carbon atoms. |
