titleOfInvention | PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A CRYSTALLIZATION PLANT AND CRYSTALLIZATION METHOD |
abstract | The plate heat exchanger (3) comprises a plurality of heat exchange elements (6) between a first and a second exchange fluids, each consisting of a stack of corrugated plates (7) between which are formed circulation channels of the first and second exchange fluids, in a general direction corresponding to the longitudinal direction of the plates (7). The exchange elements (6) are arranged adjacent to each other, in a first transverse direction parallel to the plates and in a second transverse direction perpendicular to the plates, so as to be juxtaposed along their entire length. The exchange elements comprise at their longitudinal ends distribution and guide means (14 14 ', 17ba', 17ca ', 17ad', 17bd ', 17cd', 17dd '; 18a, 18b, 18c, 18d, 18' a, 18'b, 18'c, 18'd, 18 "a, 18" b, 18 "c, 18" d; 19, 19 '; 20, 20') of the first and second fluids, such as first and second fluids flow against the current in each of the elements (6) and along the entire length of each of the elements (6), successively. The plate heat exchanger (3) can be used in particular to obtain purified and calibrated crystals of a chemical substance contained in an aqueous solution. |
