abstract Process for the isomerization of aromatic compounds with 8 carbon atoms in which the catalyst used contains at least one zeolite with structure type EUO and an element from group VIII. According to FIG. 1, the feed to be isomerized is introduced into the reactor R via line 1. This fresh feed is enriched with a mixture containing at least one of the compounds chosen from the group formed by paraffins with eight carbon atoms, benzene, toluene and naphthenes with eight carbon atoms via lines 6 and 11. A supplement of hydrogen is provided via line 15.
