abstract |
The subject of the present invention is a process for treating more or less concentrated aqueous effluents, of the process water, waste water, industrial or urban water type, and sludges, in particular from these waste waters. Said method comprises at least one step of physical separation of a liquid phase and a solid phase dispersed within said liquid phase and at least one addition of chemical conditioning reagents and optionally anti-foaming agents. It also comprises the injection of carbon dioxide (CO2) into said treated aqueous effluents, in an amount sufficient to give them a pH of less than 7.8. |
