titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF CONTROLLED POROSITY ALUMINS |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of aluminas with controlled porosity between 0.6 nm and 20 nm. This process takes place in several steps, including at least one step a) in which an alumina precursor is prepared by hydrolysis of at least one inorganic source of aluminum in the presence of at least one surfactant. Inorganic sources of aluminum are cation-monomers, for example the [Al (H2 O) s] 3+ ion and / or cation-oligomers, for example the ion with a Keggin type structure [Al13 O4 ( OH) 24 (H2 O) 12] 7+. Step a) of the process is carried out in an essentially aqueous medium, the pH of which is approximately 4.5 to 10, 5. The process according to the invention also comprises at least one step b) in which the precursor obtained is dried. in air at a temperature of about 40 to 110 degreC for about 2 to 30 hours and at least one step c) in which the dried precipitate is calcined at a temperature of about 400 to 600degreC. |
