LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FORMED BY A BIODEGRADABLE AND NON-TOXIC SUGAR POLYESTER |
abstract |
Lubricating oil composition formed by a biodegradable and non-toxic sugar polyester. The invention relates to a new lubricant intended for industrial equipment producing products intended for biologically living organisms. The composition object of this invention is edible, non-toxic and biodegradable. This composition is structured by a mono-, di-, trisaccharide sugar polyol or a sugar polymer. Sugar alcohol is the product of the reduction of a sugar in which the aldehyde or ketone group has been reduced to an alcohol. At least 4 groups of the polyol are esterified by vegetable or synthetic fatty acids, identical or different, saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched and composed of 2 to 24 carbon atoms. Preferably the number of carbons is between C4 and C18. Its general chemical formula is: S (OH) m (OCOR) n. |
