titleOfInvention | NOVEL HOMOAZAADAMANTANE SPIROOXAZINES AND THEIR USE IN THE FIELD OF OPHTHALMIC OPTICS |
abstract | The new homoazaadamantane spirooxazines correspond to the general formula: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) where: R1 is an optionally substituted alkyl group, vinyl, allyl, optionally substituted phenyl, aralkyl, optionally substituted alicyclic, or aliphatic hydrocarbon comprising one or more heteroatoms chosen from among O, N and S; R2 and R3 represent, H, an alkyl or aryl radical, - (CH2) m OR, -SR, -COR or -COOR, where R is H, alkyl or aryl and m is an integer from 0 to 10, -NR4 R5 where R4 and R5 represent H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, R4 and R5 which can form with the nitrogen atom a heterocycle, halogen, mono- or polyhaloalkyl, -NO2, -CN, -SCN, SO3 R 'where R' is hydrogen or an alkali metal, SO2 R "where R" is phenyl or tolyl; a polymerizable group; and H is an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocycle. Application as photochromic compounds in ophthalmic optics. |
