titleOfInvention FAST RADIATION DETECTOR
abstract A direct conversion radiation detector having a diode structure is proposed, which can inject through an additional injection electrode charge carriers for the compensation of charged traps in the semiconductor body. The dark current thus produced does not pass through the measuring electrodes and therefore does not influence the measuring signal. Injection is facilitated by appropriate doping under the injection electrode.
