PROCESS FOR STABILIZING SILICON RESINS WITH PRE-PURIFIED TERMINAL SILANOL GROUPS |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for stabilizing a silicone resin containing terminal silanol groups, purified beforehand by fractional precipitation using a solvent containing water, characterized in that it consists in bringing said silicone into contact with a small proportion of an agent for blocking or silylating the hydroxyl functions. The stabilized silicone resin obtained is useful in particular in space applications. |
