The functionalized elastomer (EF) is formed from an elastomeric substrate, having a weight average molecular mass (M | -w) 0 between 10,000 and 600,000 daltons and a polydispersity index of less than 5, onto which are grafted, in quantity ranging from 0.1% to 10% by weight of the substrate, sequences (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) where R1 is a hydrocarbon radical (x + z + 1) -valent in C1 to C12, X represents H or a monovalent hydrocarbon radical R in C1 to C12, z is equal to zero or 1 and x is an integer ranging from 1 to 3, with x + z = <3, the weight average molecular mass M | -w of said EF being) Mw- ( Mw) o) such that the ratio (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) is less than 20%. Bitumen / EF compositions which can be used for the production of coatings are produced by incorporating said EF into a bituminous component. |
