The subject of the invention is fire-fighting foam concentrates for hydrocarbon and polar liquid fires. These versatile emulsifiers, in the form of aqueous dispersions, comprise: (a) at least one water-insoluble fluorinated copolymer obtained by polymerization of a perfluorinated side-chain monomer, of a hydrophilic side-chain monomer of ionic or ionizable character , and optionally a monomer with a nonionic side chain; (b) at least one hydrocarbon surfactant; (c) at least one fluorinated surfactant, and, (d) at least one water-miscible organic solvent. These emulsifiers do not contain a high molecular weight thixotropic hydrophilic polymer of the polysaccharide type and are therefore perfectly fluid even at low temperature. |
