Process for the preparation of a green coffee extract, in which ground green coffee beans are treated with a first solvent capable of dissolving fats and caffeine, which is then treated with the ground product thus obtained with a second solvent consisting of a mixture of polar solvent (methanol for example) and water capable of dissolving chlorogenic acids, which is removed from the solution obtained the polar solvent, which one treats the aqueous solution obtained using a third solvent immiscible with water (ethyl acetate) and capable of dissolving chlorogenic acids, and the organic solution obtained is evaporated to obtain a dry extract. The extract obtained has a protective power against both UVA and UVB rays and can be used as an additive in cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions. |
