abstract | Nitro-ethylenic sulfur products, including certain arginine equivalents, their preparation process and their application as medicaments and in particular as inhibitors of NO-synthase. Said sulfur-containing nitro-ethylenic derivatives correspond to formula (I): (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which: - R represents a hydrogen atom, a C1 -C6 alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, - X represents - either an alkylthio or arylthio group, SR, - or: - an alkylamino group NR2 R3, in which * either R2 represents a hydrogen atom and (1) R3 represents a radical corresponding to formula (II) (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) or R3 represents a radical resulting from the tearing of a hydrogen atom from a carbon of a 5- or 6-membered heterocyl, * either R2 forms with R3 an alkane di-yl chain, substituted or not by alkyl radicals. |
